Oklahoma Territorial Plaza Had a Homecoming At the Eaton Home

A smiling group of visitors dropped into the Frank Eaton House recently. The 1903 house is part of the historic collection of buildings on the grounds of the Oklahoma Territorial Plaza for Pioneer Day (October 5) in Perkins, Oklahoma.

Stories and laughter filled the quaint house as memories were sparked by the displays, spaces, and numerous photos of Frank and his wife Anna.  The small house now on the grounds of the Oklahoma Territorial Place chronicles the life of this man who played such a unique role in Oklahoma's heritage as cowboy, poet, fast gun, storyteller, icon of a University, and so much more.

On hand were children of Elizabeth Eaton Wise (shown below):  H. Dow Wise, grandson, who spends his time between Eureka, Missouri and Perkins, Oklahoma and granddaughter Dinah Wise Wagner of Boulder, Colorado.
