Payne County granted funds to improve downtown Cushing and this park a t 108 E. Broadway where a hardware store burned down, now serves as a lovely and inviting event venue and rest stop. (Stillwater News). As part of the Downtown revitalization project it has hosted music events and can be rented for private parties as well. It has been embellishments of historical and local meaning to note inside (see Waymaker).
